Swimming

Went swimming at a friends house and she took some fab photos for me.

Bombs away!!

Growl!!!!

I hear a cute voice saying, "Mommy, I'm a tiger. GRRR" This is what I saw.

Cuddles

Sometimes when Janna is on the computer her sisters will climb in the chair behind her and watch what she is doing. David caught this on film and I had to share.

1st day of second grade

First day of school!!! I'm sending my girl off to learn and grow. I'm excited for her but I miss her already.

It's tradition that David is there her first morning of school. We have breakfast together and then take her to school. This morning she asked if he could take her on the motorcycle. Let me think, drive up in a mini van with mom and sisters or roll up on the back of a motorcycle. Of course I said yes. What a fun memory for both of them.

Janna's new teacher is Ms. Rogers

Kemah

We enjoyed a trip to the Kemah boardwalk this week. It's on the water and there are many rides to enjoy. Bell & Brice joined us as well as Rachel & Megan. Turns out Brice is an adrenaline junkie, this was great news to Janna and Rachel who proceeded to ride several thrill rides with him, over and over and over and over again. I tried to get a photo of the three of them on the Inverter (their favorite) but it didn't come out that great. They rode it about a dozen times, and no I'm not exaggerating. The operator just let them stay on or they would get right back in line. They even did the Drop Zone a few times. The rest of us enjoyed the trains, the Ferris wheel or more simple rides. All in all it was completely worth the car ride and we had an absolute blast.

Waffles

Typically when my girls ask for waffles I make them homemade. I buy Eggo waffles for those mornings when I'm just too tired or in a hurry. It seems my girls have grown spoiled though. When I tried to give them the frozen kind this morning they all stuck their noses up at them and said, "no mommy's waffles!!!"

I suppose I should be flattered.

A walk in the park

We found an unexpected park and maze one day. It's right next to the library but we have never noticed it before. The maze has these huge statues depicting stories that were really cool. Here are some pictures from our walk.

Janna is so beautiful and I love this photo of her.

Dora & Diego Part II

Life doesn't get much better than this. Lunch with friends at Chick Fil A and a show put on by Dora and Diego.

During the show a banana fell on the floor, right as Kennedy ran to pick it up the music for Swiper the Fox came on. She had perfect timing!
When I asked Courtney if she liked Dora, she said yes, when I asked if she liked Diego she said, "yes mommy, he's funny."

Dora & Diego

We're getting ready for Dora and Diego at Chick Fil A this morning. Our teeth are brushed with Dora & Diego toothpaste and toothbrushes, we are wearing our Dora shirts and pull ups; to top it all off we put on Dora band aids. Bring on the fun!!

Side note: I put bandaids on the girls arms, Kennedy sees she has Dora on each arm and says, "look, they're twins!"

Belly button

Kennedy has her hand on her belly button and tells me, "look mommy, it's a volcano."
