Our local library hosts a reading time for various age groups throughout the school year. During the summer time they take a break and do special programs.
Today we went to "Marshmallow Madness" where a singing cowboy regaled us with campfire stories, songs, science experiments, catapulted marshmallows and a live praying mantis. He invited everyone up for questions afterward and my girls wanted to know if they could hold the bug.
