Sunday, rainy Sunday

It's a warm rainy Sunday here in Houston.


It started raining while we were at church today.  My girls got excited because they love playing in the rain.  As soon as we returned home the girls changed into swim suits and began playing in the rain and mud.  There was a lunch break and then it was back outside to enjoy the rain while it lasted. 

Janna then found a "kids" cookbook and started flipping through it.  She wanted to make something but I got annoyed since every recipe used some pre-made box mix.  Instead I had all the girls come into the kitchen with me.  We made homemade granola as our treat.

Overall, what a lovely rainy Sunday.
