I managed to get up and get everyone ready so we could leave at 7 am like David asked. We stopped for breakfast and have now crossed Denny's off our list of acceptable restaurants. Lets just say the girls didn't like the food and it was mutual.
After a long day in the van David treated us to a few hours at the Grand Canyon. It was awe inspiring and completely with the time to go there. He has promised to bring us back again and I am really looking forward to it.
We made it Las Vegas around 9 and went straight to bed. It's been a long trip so far. In fact Kennedy was asleep in the van, David carried her in an out her in bed. She didn't get up until this morning.
