This past month or so has been very busy for our little family. For many reasons we were unable to send out Christmas cards. We appreciate all those we received. I love hearing from all of you and seeing how everyone has changed over the past year. So thank you!
As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, I am eternally grateful for my every blessing. I see God's hand in my life daily and I am thankful for the gift of His perfect Son. I am thankful for my dear companion, my best friend - David. I'm thankful for each of my children. I can't imagine a world without Janna, Courtney or Kennedy. They have brought more joy to my life than I could have ever imagined.
May you be blessed this Christmas with love and happiness in your life. Merry Christmas!

Sock puppets
As it's gotten colder outside I realized that I didn't have gloves for the babies. Most days it's not a problem, but when it snowed recently we wanted to play in it. All of Janna's gloves are too large so I simply put socks on their hands and let them play. We completely enjoyed ourselves and it was worth it. They even joined in on the snowball fight which meant changing socks several times.
A few days ago I heard Courtney playing in her bed. I picked her up and went to change her diaper. As I did I noticed she was only wearing one sock. Bare feet are subject to tickles and kisses from mommy, but this time I asked her, "where's your sock silly girl?" She grinned and help out her hand. On it was her fuzzy pink sock she had put there all by herself. She was so proud!
Both girls now think its funny to take the socks off their feet and put them on their hands to make puppets.

Kennedy's long sentence
Since the girls are being major grumpy this week I decided they need to get to the park and get some energy out. I told them this morning we were going to the store and then to play. Kennedy shook her head no and said, "I go see Bam-ma."

Is this day over yet
Earlier this morning I was at the computer working when I had the feeling to go check on the girls. They were a little too quiet. I ignored it. Big mistake. When I finally went to find them they were covered in Vaseline. They had climbed up the changing table, got the tube/bottle down and proceeded to use it like lotion. It was all over their clothes, faces, necks, feet, arms, legs and hair. The entire bottle was used up. Needless to say they were a greasy happy mess.
After Janna came home from school the girls found her toothbrush. I took it away from Courtney and put it away - the whole time she followed me yelling at me. I ignored her and went back to making dinner. This time when I had the feeling to go check on her I listened. I found Courtney in the bathroom. She had climbed up the toilet and onto the counter. She got her toothbrush out of the cup, opened the drawer to get out the toothpaste and was in the process of brushing her own teeth.
Don't even get me started on the attitude today. I'll ask again, is this day over yet?
